Well, first we should ask the question in more specific circumstances. What would life be like without the internet if the 'plug' was pulled today? Rather than trying to imagine a world without the internet, we would have explored this, looking at the subject from this angle.

Socializing - Can our youth socialize without the internet?

Many of us use the internet to communicate, especially in parentheses under the age of 10. Our demands for social communication and networking on the Internet are huge, from email to chat forums, social networks, dating sites and even to virtual worlds.
